Preparation

Ensure MSDS is available at work site and all employees/ persons read, understand and know where to find them.

Provide adequate lighting if required. Provide as much ventilation as possible. Open windows / doors. Use mechanical ventilation or correctly positioned portable fans.

Ensure PPE is supplied as prescribed in MSDS (example, PVC gloves, half or full face respirators with appropriate cartridge or supplied air, chemical goggles, aprons, gauntlet gloves, rubber boots (ensure pants are not tucked into boots in case of spill) etc).
