Overhead Crane Safety Notes
Before Operating An Overhead Crane:
- No person shall operated the crane unless they are trained to do so.
- Locate the power disconnection switch, always ensure the access to the switch is not blocked.
- Operators must inspect all equipment daily before use.
- Ensure the rated load capacity of the crane, hoist, chain, cable, slings, or other components will not be exceeded.
- Personnel are to, and will remain clear of the load at all times.
