Scraper Operation Safety Notes
Before Operating A Motor Grader:
- There is restricted visibility to the rear of the scraper cab due to length of the bowl and associated equipment.
- When entering, always use the hand rails and steps provided and face the cabbin at all times.
- Never attempt to start or operate the scraper except from the operator’s seat. Example – by not leaning into the cabin.
- Ensure the seat is locked in position and cannot rotate unless released by the operator.
