Before Waterproofing Wet Areas:
- Ensure all walls will be water resistant and all penetrations will be waterproofed.
- All cuts and penetrations should be sealed.
- All surfaces must be structurally sound, clean and dry. Also they must be free of voids, curing compounds, projections, loose materials, oils, grease etc.
- Check that waterproof mortars and grouts have been identified, selected, prepared and mixed to specifications.
